Ocarina of Time’s gaming revolution didn’t stop there. Link can plant a seed as a child, only to see it grow into a tree seven years later, as an adult a nd h e can climb it to access new areas! This piece of the franchise also introduced target locking and situation dependent buttons, both of which were intrinsic to the real-time battle system implemented for this game. Developers further played with our idea of time by incorporating it as a gameplay mechanic.
